We love that this wedding has “Strictly Ballroom” written all over it!
The gifted dance due met in a ballroom dance class in Chicago, IL. For Robert it was love at first sight and he pursued Briel relentlessly until she finally said that she would go out with him.
He later proposed on a weekend trip to Nashville. The couple chose to have a destination wedding in Nashville because it was now a sentimental place and also because it marked the halfway location for their families.
Briel and Rob decided to have a country meets modern vibe to their wedding. The bride wore a short front with long back mermaid dress. She accessorized her look with a corsage and a crystallized clutch in lieu of carrying a bouquet.
During the wedding the guests were seated in a semi circle. The bride and groom’s first dance was an elaborate choreographed ballroom routine to three different songs that represented their courtship. The reception was then kicked off by a flash mob on the dance floor. And as their late night snack, the bride and groom served Chicago dogs in honor of where they currently live.
